Hot on the press tour of his first Hollywood movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Daniel Henney brought main actor Hugh Jackman to Seoul recently to promote the movie. The two were reportedly made fast friend on the movie set. According to Henney;

“It’s so hard when it’s your first big-budget movie,” he says. “You hear stories about actors not wanting to stick around for their close-up (because) they want to get home, but Hugh is the most giving and available actor. I remember the day I met him; we were due to do a really emotional scene the next day. After we’d wrapped, he said ‘Let’s go lock down this scene,’ and I was like, ‘Great, I really want to know what I’m doing.’ We stayed there hours after we’d finished working.”

Apparently Jackman was also appointed as Korea Goodwill Ambassador on the same day of the visit. Both will appear on a local show, ‘Gold Miss Are Coming’ (골드미스 간다) to be aired on April 19 (Sunday). Preview of the show can be seen here (via seoulbeats).

Below are pictures from Henney’s latest magazine appearance for Cine21. (Unfortunately I could not locate any accompanying article – will update if I do).
