[Sure is a Korean magazine]
Action drama ‘Iris’ opened with a bang and great reception from audience. Starring powerhouse Lee Byung Hyun, Kim Tae Hee, Jung Jun Ho, TOP and of course Kim So Yeon (plus many others) the series is about (via Korea Times);
The espionage series will deal with love, hate and betrayal between spies from both South and North Korea and the dangerous tasks and choices the protagonist, played by Lee, must accomplish.
So Yeon played a North Korean spy, Kim Sun Hwa who (via dramabeans):
… is “like a shadow” to her superior officer played by Kim Seung-woo. An intense person who believes that failure is always soon followed by death, Sun-hwa becomes conflicted when she becomes indebted to the enemy: In the process of pursuing top South Korean spy Kim Hyun-joon (Lee Byung-heon), she finds her loyalty swayed to him after Hyun-joon saves her life.
