I remembered watching the trailer of ‘The Fate’ and thought – wow, that looks cool. More so cos it starred two delicious eye candy that is Song Seung Heon and Kwon Sang Woo. They ride the hallyu wave and till today, they still look hot and pretty much on top on their game despite questionable choices in their projects.
I finally watched ‘The Fate’ a few weeks ago on DVD and was left sleepy and definitely unimpressed. To sum it up – it was a mindless gangsters movie. Maybe it was the translation (helplessly bad – every swear word was replace with ‘darn’ every freaking time!) but after watching people getting punched and kicked with no apparent reason (or lack of understandable reasons?) – even my mom gave up half way. “Too much fighting. I don’t like it.” Me too mom, me too.

(However, if you’re looking another film of similar vein, I recommend ‘Mr. Socrates’, starring Kim Rae Won. That one was most excellent)
